Abstract [English]

This research examines contemporary art as a field where culture, society and the individual intersect, highlighting its integration within the realm of artistic expression. The main objective of the study lies in the breadth and complexity of contemporary art, which stands out for its ability to foster intellectuality, interactivity, expressiveness and creativity in the artistic field. It is characterised by the use of everyday materials and a diversity of visual languages, which serve as means of conveying experiences and reflections on reality. From a methodological perspective, it proposes an innovative approach that goes beyond aesthetic representation, promoting critical reflection on the surrounding context. It is observed that contemporary art has evolved over time, incorporating conceptual transformations in the ways images are constructed and taking on multiple meanings in global contexts. In conclusion, it aims to understand how contemporary art functions simultaneously as a form of aesthetic expression and as an instrument of critical inquiry, capable of revealing, problematising and reconfiguring the social, cultural and symbolic dynamics that structure human experience in the contemporary context.
